Did you know that most of the oxygen we breathe comes from organisms in the ocean? I’ll admit, that information from Smithsonian is news to me. And, I’ll pass it on at my Under the Sea summer camp.
At our summer camp, Under the Sea, we’ll explore sea life. There are so many great books (especially the National Geographic Kids series) that will lead us to amazing discoveries and great discussions.
Between 700,000 and one million species live in the world’s ocean. Through STEAM activities and crafts, we’ll explore sea life. And — with open arms, fins and tentacles — we’ll welcome real fish and an octopus into our classroom.
Visit www.steamcamp.is for registration information for your PreK-1st grade camper.
